This study analyses the actions that the CampusNet Amazônia consortium develops for the Amazon region, specifically in the University of the State of Pará, with offers in six cities for the Mathematics Long Distance Course, being relevant by its depth toward the graduation of teachers in a teaching model able to reduce the social distances caused either by the exclusion or by the lack of opportunity to continue the studies by many Amazon people. The proposed study is a result of the quality research with descriptivist approach having the University of the State of Pará as the site to collect the data. In such context the following questions guide the investigation: How does the UEPA, institution that composes the CampusNet Amazônia in the state of Pará integrate the Long Distance Education in the process of teacher s graduation? What methodological strategies the mathematic course focuses for the integration between professional formation and Long Distance Education? What operational and technological strategies are adopted by UEPA to implement the teaching model? The study presents as subjects: two course coordinators, five teachers for the pedagogic fundamental course disciplines and twenty nine students inscribed in the São Miguel do Guamá s University facility. The theoretical reference about the teacher s formation in a perspective of professionalization of them and teachers capacities is based in the ideas of Nóvoa (1992), Veiga (2002) and Tardif (2000, 2001, 2002). Regarding the context of the Long Distance Education and its contributions for the teachers formation we highline the approaches of Belloni (2001, 2002), Litto (2009), Moore (2008), Silva (2003), Pretto (2006) and Peters (2003, 2004). The result of the study can contribute for the increasing of actions via Long Distance Education in the formation of teachers from the actions sanctioned in the teaching practice in such course model for the superior education.
